Team Building Environmental & Community Project
Honda at Wexham Nurseries & Stoke Common
Honda has engaged Employee Volunteering over the last two years to organise their annual community team building event. With 75 volunteers the project was split into a number of different activities.
The team carried out ground clearing work at a local Common, hard work but vital for a sustained environment with a bonfire keeping people and the kettle warm. A second team worked at a local nursery with disabled people from a local college. Volunteers worked one on one with adults with learning difficulties to help them to become more independent through gardening.
