EV Community Partners

Our community projects provide powerful incentives for businesses to get involved in more meaningful ways in the communities where they are located.  Employee Volunteering CiC is committed to respectful collaborative working with other organisations working to achieve greater business-community engagement in their own local area.

Community Action Projects

Together we can make a real difference within urban environments in which people live and work. EV organise inspiring interaction days for business employees across the country, and ambitious projects for specific local and regional areas. Employee Volunteering CiC understands how difficult it can be for charitable and community groups to match their own needs with the offerings of employee volunteers.  We work hard to create solutions that provide superb results for both parties.

Volunteering for Nature Projects

Many businesses are interested in doing conservation work as a team-building exercise.   Employee Volunteering CiC works with the Wildlife Trusts and a variety of local conservation groups, bringing you the manpower you need to complete big projects.

Change a Life Projects

In partnership with the United Kingdom Sailing Academy, EV offers a coaching and mentoring programme that can really make a difference to young people in your area who are not in education, employment or training.  Across the country, we work with Connexions, Entry to Employment providers, Barnados and the Fire Service LIFE project to provide complementary mentoring support to priority young people, which is financed by corporates rather than the public sector.

Youth Engagement Projects

Using its contacts with some of the biggest names in the UK corporate world, Employee Volunteering has spearheaded the establishment of an innovative type of youth engagement project in several local areas.   These projects are supported by Children's Services, the police, local councils, social housing associations and numerous other public sector bodies.  Our expertise in managing large and complex collaborative projects is ideally suited to this sort of initiative.  Recent projects include our ‘Get With’ and ‘Summer in da Hood’ projects.
