A Great Year for Employee Volunteering Awards
Prudential - Best Team Volunteering Project Award
We were delighted to hear the announcment that the best team prize in Prudential's Volunteering Awards for work completed in 2010 went to the Pru Change Team for their work with Parents and Children Together (PACT), a Reading based charity. This was a skills based volunteering programme involving over 30 employees over a period of 12 months. The project was developed, organised and managed by Employee Volunteering CiC.
BT Chairman's Award - Volunteer of the Year
We were very proud when we got news that Darren Delsol had received the prestigious award for "Volunteer of the Year" as part of BT's annual Chairman's Awards scheme. This was for his work mentoring two young people from his local community as part of our Community Coaching Project.
