This project took place at a residential home to 21 adult residents with a range of physical disabilities and sensory impairments, who share each day together participating in a variety of activities of their choice. They live in a warm and friendly, family atmosphere and are always delighted to welcome visitors to their home. The project consisted of two parts: a fun day for the residents including an art class and outdoor games, and outdoor gardening and painting tasks.
Volunteers just need to be willing to join in for these types of projects.
